The tropical grasslands of Africa are home to many organisms, but where do they live? What does their home look like? What are the factors of this biome (biome is the term used to describe the large area of land that has a certain climate, vegetation, and precipitation) that allow such organisms to survive here? There are many factors that can decide which animals and plants live here, such as: location, climate, and physical features.
The tropical grasslands in Africa are located below the Tropic of Cancer, and extends past the Tropic of Capricorn. they exist in mostly the middle hemisphere of the world. Below, you can see that they surround rainforests, which is humid, and has water. You can see they land change as you move further out towards the edges of the grasslands by the desert, where water is scarce, and it is very hot all the time.
