Species in African Grasslands: Cheetahs

Cheetahs are one of the fastest animals on the planet, able to run more 70 miles per hour. The mothers spend weeks teaching the ways of hunting to the young and unlike other animals the cheetah likes to hunt during the day instead of the night. Cheetahs first outrun the prey and then knock them out with their paws and break the airway by biting in to their neck.
