One invasive specie in the African Grasslands are the fire ants. They may be small but the affect they have on the grassland is very big. They make changes to the grasslands food chains by getting rid of other animals that are critical to the biome. They also eat plants that are needed for other species survivals. The fir ants also bite a lot which causes a lot of of irritation so that affects other species such as elephants, lions, and cheetahs so they decrease biodiversity by affecting other animals
